All investments are final once accepted. When you submit a subscription to invest in a Deal with an SPV through the Platform, that subscription is considered final and binding. If the manager of the SPV accepts your subscription, your capital is committed, and no refunds, cancellations, or withdrawals are allowed, regardless of changes to your personal circumstances or investment preferences, unless otherwise stated in SPV’s offering documents.
What happens if your subscription is rejected? The SPV manager may reject your subscription in full or in part, at their sole discretion. If that happens, the corresponding portion of your subscription amount will be returned to your original payment method. No interest will accrue on refunded amounts, and neither Uniborn nor the Platform are not responsible for delays caused by banks, custodians, or other third parties.
No early redemption rights. Once your subscription is accepted and you are admitted to an SPV, your investment becomes illiquid and cannot be redeemed or withdrawn, unless explicitly permitted in the SPV’s offering documents. These are long-term, high-risk, and speculative investments, and you should invest only what you can afford to lose.
Platform fees are non-refundable. Any platform access fees, administrative charges, conversion fees, or service fees paid through the Platform are non-refundable unless we clearly state otherwise at the time of payment.
If you have questions about this policy or how it applies to a specific deal, please contact us at hello@uniborn.com.
